2025 WEBSITE UPDATE

For all of the past faithful Wheels ‘N’ Windmills Car Show committee, event participants, event sponsors, event helpers and spectators. It has been a very busy couple of years for me since retiring the Wheels ‘N’ Windmills Car Show. I really wanted to put together the “Car Show Historical Review”, but other tasks and family priorities kept getting in the way. With the help of Dan Hoagland, we are putting together an “abbreviated” version of what I tried to get off the ground in 2024. This new version called “Wheels ‘N’ Windmills Car Show Going Back In Time” will last three to four months. Each segment will consist of 75 to 100 pictures in a slide-show format. Each segment will cover a specific period of time and include photos and documents chosen by Dan and myself that we feel will provide a look back at each of the “Avenue of Flags” and “Wheels ‘N’ Windmills” car show events. As I said back in 2024, the sheer volume of information and pictures gathered over the 22 years of putting on the events was staggering. That said, we have chosen pictures and specific documents that we hope will bring back memories of the great times we had putting on, participating in, and attending the car shows. The first segment will cover the six years of the “Avenue of Flags” car show and the first two years of the “Wheels ‘N’ Windmills” car show.

We hope you enjoy watching each segment as much as we had putting them together. I have kept the feed-back page link in place so please feel free to send me feed-back on what you think of each of the segments. Your input will help Dan and myself make changes and/or improvements to each following segment. The first segment will air very soon.

Thank you for your past support and understanding for the long delay.

Sincerely,

Bob Stokes, Former President of the Wheels ‘N’ Windmills Car Show
